Who is this Max anyway? Max was my grandfather, who had a very strong influence on me, my siblings and my childhood. He was a hearty host and a wonderful person. He managed to put a smile on everyone's face with his lightness and joie de vivre. Everyone was welcome at his home and enjoyed his simple and authentic cuisine. In his name and spirit, I would like to run this restaurant.

Silvana, who is a heart and soul gastronome in addition the founder of Restaurant Max says, I found my dream job as a chef at a young age and gained experience in renowned restaurants in Switzerland, Germany and Spain. Afterwards, I looked for new challenges and successfully managed a restaurant for over 3 years. During this formative and experience-rich time, my dream of having my own restaurant was strengthened and is now finally coming true. As a member of the tennis club, an idea quickly became a huge project of my heart. The beautiful location in Gundeli has the potential to become something big.

My right-hand man at Max is my good friend Javier. We met during my time in Spain and worked together in the hotel kitchen of a 5-star hotel. That's when I came to appreciate Javier as a great, loyal employee and passionate cook. He learned to cook in Spain and has now been practicing his profession for over 10 years. He has been in Switzerland for a year and a half and has been able to gain a foothold in the restaurant business.
